The accomplished and service-based Insurance firm launched in the spring of 1947 by our founder R. Edward Mann, flourishes today on his founding principles of integrity and commitment.
A farm management background and a flair for community involvement proved to be the right ingredients for Ed Mann’s new venture. Starting with one employee, he cultivated a large and diverse clientele, many of whom remain valued customers of R.E. Mann Brokers Ltd. to this day. Within a few years, having been joined by son Bob & Ron, the company aspired to leadership in its field.
While insurance has always remained the mainstay of the family business, R.E. Mann Brokers Ltd. diversified over the years including a full service appraisal department and commercial property management. In 1993 Coldwell Banker franchise complimented the already successful residential real estate division. Life insurance, annuities, RRSP’s, accident & sickness benefits were also included in the expansion of R.E. Mann Brokers Ltd. over many years.
As time progressed, all but the treasured Insurance division of the company were sold to people whom the Mann family trusted to continue their tradition of “family oriented” business.
Ronald P. Mann now oversees the Insurance business that his father started. Like Ed & Bob Mann before him energies are devoted to a host of worthy causes within and around Norfolk County. Ron promotes family, devotion and friendship to clients and employees alike understanding that success is derived from quality and service to clients.
